Men need adventure, men long to make a difference, and believe it or not, men need each other. Though many of us want others to think that we’re rugged individualist and we can do it ALL on our own, the truth is that we really do better when we’ve got strong, healthy friendships with other guys. At Horizons you’ll find a place where you can do just that. Our Men’s LifeGroups provide a place where men can be real. You’ll get together with other men for friendship, encouragement, accountability and sometimes just for the fun of it.
In a LifeGroup you'll study topics that are important to you and that will challenge you to grow in your relationship with Christ. While you’re at it, you’ll find a sense of brotherhood and belonging with other men who desire to know God more. You'll discover just what you need to help you take the next steps in your journey of faith.
We’ve all got gifts and talents and at Horizons we do our best to help you use your gifts, talents and passions to serve God and others. We encourage LifeGroups to find ways that they can serve together. You might reach out to help a neighbor in need, volunteer to help at the church or partner with other ministries to do local or oversees missions projects.
Matthew 25:40 tells us “Whatever you have done to the least of these you have done to Me (Jesus). That means that when we reach out as a representative of Jesus and give of time, money, or talents to serve others it’s just as if we are doing it for Jesus. We challenge you to take what God has blessed you with and use it to benefit others.
