Serve the Community
"...and in all Judea and Samaria..."
You don’t have to go far to find people in need. It may be as close as your neighbor, a family across town or someone in the next county. As Christians we want to be an extension of God’s love and do our part to make a difference in the lives of those in our own communities.
In order to do that we partner with local non-profit organizations that focus on specific needs in our area. Through these partnerships we help feed the hungry, clothe the poor, provide job training and much more. In addition to working with local organizations, Horizons Church periodically launches our own community initiatives in which volunteer led teams do community cleanup up, construction and repair projects and more.
Help feed and clothe people who are struggling, provide construction and repair to the facility, mentor, counsel, lead Bible studies, teach Life-Skills classes and more.
H.I.S. BridgeBuilders has been serving the needs of people in the Clarksburg area for over 5 years. There focus is on building bridges that connect individuals to one another and to God, sharing His love for His people.
Unifies, equips and trains local churches so they will be prepared to offer acts of mercy, service and ministry in the event of catastrophic events and extreme circumstances.
