Providing Hope, One Meal at a Time

Christ is the bread of life, and we share that with everyone we see. Still, it is also our privilege to offer literal "bread" to those in our church family facing a crisis or a significant life transition. Whether it’s celebrating a new birth or walking through the valley of loss, Feed Our Sheep provides meal trains that bring the love of God directly to individuals’ and families’ front doors so they can focus on managing their circumstances..

• Who it’s for: This ministry supports Horizons members and regular attenders during automatic qualifying events (birth, death of a loved one, or deployment) and crisis situations like major illness or surgery.

• How it works: We coordinate a "meal train" where volunteers prepare and deliver food to your home, ensuring you are nourished and cared for while you focus on what matters most.

Help on the Horizon Food Pantry

Serving Our Neighbors in North Central WV

While Feed Our Sheep cares for our internal church family, “Help on the Horizon” Food Pantry is our hands-on mission to the wider community. We provide a welcoming and dignified environment for any of our neighbors facing food insecurity, offering consistent support and a reminder that they are not alone.

• The Impact: We collect and distribute groceries year-round across our campuses to meet the practical needs of families in our region.

• Get Involved: Join the team that stocks our shelves or helps greet and assist our guests on distribution days.

Global Missions

Steady Obedience to the Ends of the Earth

Our mission doesn't stop at the county line. At Horizons, we believe missions are lived out through long-term relationships and steady obedience. Whether it’s decades of walking alongside ministry in Cambodia or commissioning one of our own families to serve in South Africa, we are committed to seeing the Gospel take root in every corner of the globe.

• Our Heart: We don’t just send resources; we send our church family. From supporting Bible translation to empowering local pastors with technology, we go where God opens a door.
