New Programs at Horizons
New ways to get involved at Horizons
Trail Life USA
Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered, boy-focused mentoring journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out their God-given mission.
Our program is designed to let boys be boys—accentuating their strengths while grounding them in a biblical worldview under the guidance of godly male mentors.
Get Involved! Ready to see your son grow in faith and courage? Join us for our next meeting to learn how Trail Life can impact your family.

BiBi’s Blessings
Whether you’re a master with a crochet hook or a devotee of the knitting needle, we invite you to help us provide handmade warmth to those who need it most. We create soft hats and cozy blankets for:
Newborns celebrating their first days.
Neighbors undergoing cancer treatment.
Homebound members and those facing long-term health challenges.
No matter your skill level, your hands can help share God’s comfort.

Foster Together
If you’re fostering or raising a relative’s child here in West Virginia, you already know how heavy the load can feel. Our state actually has the highest foster care rate in the country: about four times the national average. Right here in Harrison and Taylor counties, there are over 250 kids currently in the system, and many of them are being raised by grandparents or family members who never expected to be back in the 'parenting' stage of life.
We started Foster Together because no one should have to do this alone. We aren’t a formal board meeting or a training seminar; we’re just a group of parents who 'get it.' Whether you need a place to vent, some extra prayer, or just a community that understands the unique highs and lows of the WV foster system, we’d love to have you join us.
Sending Missionaries
Horizons has been involved in short-term and long-term partnerships for many years, but we’ve never trained up and sent a family around the world to spread the Gospel… until now!
Joe and Abbey Barnosky are raising prayer support and monthly financial support to fulfill the mission God has called them to. They have a long history at Horizons, and we’re proud to call them our own. Learn more about their ministries and how you can be part of Horizons’ global impact.
